Open Air Evangelism

In 2023, the Lord God convicted me and led me to take a step of faith and go preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ openly to the public in my area of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. I had been a witness for the Lord with sweat shirts and tee shirts with the Lord;s name and scriptures in red ink telling of repentance and believing the gospel. Even ASK ME HOW words on the shirts. I did this fifteen or more years. I even made my own bumper sticker for my cars and used them to wittness to many on the srteets and ihghways for several years. I gave dozens away to others to use but most Christians did not want them. I got some result with the shirts but not enough to the desired level I had hoped. I passed out gospel tracks even my own authored track and my radio messages on cassette tapes by the thousands, Yet it was not enough being done to reach others for Christ.
So In the summer of 2023, I took a leap of faith to go out into the world and preach the gospel in person to the thousands of people in my area who would be walking by in public places. Starting at Bethlehem Music Feast, the largest free music festiival (with some paid band acts) in the country. Normally over one million attenders during the ten day event. Each year during certain months of the year, I have been out there fullfilling the Great Commission to GO into all the world in person as much as I can, This is what the early church Apostles and other witnesses did starting in Jerusalem. I have been free in my soul and spirit ever since. This added a part of personal deep growth within me that could not be obtained from doing anything else. This added a part of maturity in me that could not be attained doing any other kind of ministry. This is how the church got started after the Day of Pentecost. This is part of doing the Great Commission. This is how the Lord Jesus set things up from the start by using his personal example for others to follow in ministry.
Open Air Evangelism is done by personally appearing in public places for witnessing and preaching to the public about the Lord Jesus Christ.
My simple voice is used with Bible held in hand and white cap worn with the words "Jesus Christ is Lord" in red letters in the front of the cap.
Also, I use a small white board with erasable ink lettering for the public to read the Lord's name with some scriptures added and/or other wording. I will be standing or sitting down when appropriate like sitting in the bench on the boardwalks.
Local laws or city ordinances are never violated as to comply with not obstructing public walking.
I never stand or sit on known private property which would be a violation of local laws. This is the reason most people who try doing public preaching about the Lord make as the biggest mistake. Stay off private property of businesses of any kind, someone’s personal home or land property, streets with automobile traffic etc. The exception would only be that who have the business or land owners permission to be on their property to preach the Lord Jesus to the public from that location.
Also, reading to know all laws of any city, county, state or federal laws on public speaking is important as to not violate any law. Some people who are angered about Gospel preaching mostly because of personal guilt of their own sins, do not want to hear the Gospel message of the Lord Jesus Christ. Some people may try to stop the preaching by using any legal local law against the person who is violating them. Also, demonic spirts trying to hinder the Gospel message from being heard could motivate unbelievers to use any legal ordinance law to prevent the preacher or wittness from preaching the word of the Lord.
Jesus commands his disciples saying, " Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves be therefore wise as serpents and harmless as doves." Matthew 10:16-23 This applies to pubic preaching in the market places, parks, street corners, fairs, etc.
Microphones, loud speakers, electic amplification, etc are not used because it will probably be irritating to the public listener hearing loud speaking or singing they do not want to hear. Possible disturbing of the peace accusation/charge could be said of me or you.
However, In The United States of America, Preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the public or wearing the Lord's name on any Cap or showing the Bible in hand, etc etc. is the epitome of freedom of speech in America according to the first amendment of the Constitution.
Therefore, I strongly recommend any one publicly speaking about the Lord Jesus Christ, get yourself a copy and read the Consitution and Declaration of Independence thoroughly. You could even carry a copy with you for back up reference. This is the reason God raised up America since the 1600's. Using the Pilgrims in Massachusetts or the Quakers like William Penn, the Christian founder of Pennsylvania in 1681 who gave voting rights to all the Christians communities buying land from him here in Pennsylvania in his "Holy Experiment." The America church from its beginning throughout the 1600's 1700's, 1800's and 1900's used Open Air Preaching as the logical way to reach people for Christ. America was founded, first to Preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ in this land and to the entire world from then until now in these last days.
Open Air Preaching, even at the cost of your own personal expense to do it, probably will not have many doing this original system of ministry. Most do not want to pay the price or have not overcome their fears yet. However, we do not need many to do the work but only the committed few willing to pay the cost of actually doing it like the Apostles of old. So, if we see me out there in the world doing Open Air Preaching, say hello, maybe we could preach together a while using the two by two system or we both go to our own place we are led by the Holy Spirit to preach. Either way, may we not miss God's will in doing this part of the Great Commission.
My words of advice to any preacher or called witness to do Open Air Preaching. It is really important that you know the word of God, the bible very well. Know basic doctrine because questions off all sorts will probably be asked by someone. Prayer requests will happen and we must know how and what to pray in each situation. We must have sound biblical knowledge to respond correctly. We do not want to loose someone because of our own lack of knowledge. This is why the original disciples were well educated by the Lord himself and empowered with the Baptism in the Holy Spirit after their salvation before they went into the world to preach, We must have similar education of God's word and empowerment of the Holy Spirit before we really go preach.
Finally, it is wise to have access to strong Christian legal counsel lawyers to ensure the non violation of American Christian citizen rights are not violated. I recommend as one option, The ACLJ, The American Center for Law and Justice at Regent University, Virgina Beach Virgina. www.aclj.org

You've got a website that you worked super hard to complete. You want the world to visit it, be compelled by your mission and vision, and respond by getting involved, contributing, buying, or even asking for help and services. To do that, you need to convince them with your words, images, and media. This takes time, effort, and sometimes money. But, we're going to talk you through a few tips that will help cut to the chase and create compelling, targeted, and efficient content clients, customers, donors, volunteers, potential partners will love.
Important Note: This information appears on this page because you have not yet added content to it. It's just a placeholder. It will be removed when either you sign into your Client Dashboard and replace it using the Content Manager or our team finishes placing information that you have sent to us through our content management services onto this page. But since you're here, let's talk about content.
Define Your Goals. Don't Be Aimless.
Start off by determining what you want a website visitor to do once they read your content. Do you want them to download a PDF? Do you want them to fill out a form? Do you want them to submit a donation through your website? Knowing the answers to these questions allows you to craft your content in a way that persuades them to do exactly what you want them to do.
Be Passionate. Don't Be Clinical.
A mistake that many businesses and nonprofits make with their website is being too dispassionate about what they are saying. Boring mission statements, stoic history timelines, and no attention to the donation appeal text are costing organizations millions, and they don't even know it. Start off the right way by making your content passionate, exciting, and inviting. Talk as you would on a stage or in person. Develop a voice to your content that relates to your audience. Don't put your visitors to sleep with clinical, monotone information that doesn't inspire them. Think about what inspires you and infect them with that same level of motivation.
Be Personal. Don't Be Formal.
People want to be spoken to by people, not websites. Address your audience as if they were right in front of you. Think about how you would relate to them. If they are donors, think about the reasons your current donors give and what personal attachment they have to your mission. If your audience is potential clients (people to help), think about the situations they find themselves in and what concerns they have when they come to you for assistance. Talk to them at their level, not above it. Don't create artificial barriers by formalizing your language.
Talk in Sections. Don't Ramble On.
People most definitely read on the internet. After all, that's what you're doing right now. But, like this post, you will want to divide what you write into digestible sections that a website visitor can quickly scan before deciding that he or she intends to read the information in that section. Be as long winded with your page as you need to be. But, remember to break your content up using section headers and stick to your talking points under each header.
